  • One of our jobs during the intake interview is actually to talk through the different options that would fit for you, and help you pick the best one. Research shows that coming to a decision about therapy together leads to the best outcomes!

  • Nope! The therapies I offer are talk-therapies that rely on in-session participation and out-of-session homework assignments. If you are interested in medication, I am happy to provide referrals to providers in your area.

  • Because my practice is virtual, I am not limited to the Cincinnati area! In addition to being licensed in Ohio, I am also able to do therapy in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming through PSYPACT.

  • YES! I strongly believe that, no matter how long ago you experienced trauma, there is still hope. I have seen so many people’s lives changed - sometimes after 50 or 60 years - with trauma-focused treatment.

  • Firstly, make sure you are in a private location - this can be your room, an office, or even your car! Next, ensure that you have a strong internet connection and any therapy materials accessible. Lastly, try to reduce distractions so you can get as much out of the therapy as you can.

  • I’m glad you asked! The reality is that insurance oftentimes imposes restrictions and barriers to effective treatment, as well as maintaining files and diagnoses that become a part of your permanent health record. If I am not in your insurance network, I am happy to provide a Superbill, or statement of insurance reimbursement, that you can submit to your insurance carrier for partial reimbursement of any out-of-network benefits you may have.
